Supernatural
Twenty-two
years ago, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki, "Gilmore Girls," "House of
Wax") and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles, "Smallville," "Dark Angel")
lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force.
Subsequently, their father John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, "Grey's Anatomy")
raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil
that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America... and
he taught them how to kill it.
They
travel the country, encountering creatures that most people believe
exists only in folklore, superstition and nightmares -- vampires,
spirits, revenants, reapers, even bloody clowns.
Wherever they go, the brothers continue their search for the demon that
destroyed their family.

The Dukes of Hazzard
One of the
television shows I
enjoyed when I was a young child was the “Dukes of Hazzard”, especially
the opening theme song,
and I always wanted the horn on my future car when I grew up to sound
like the General
Lee's.
Daisy was probably the best lookin' thing in Hazzard County, whilst
everyone wanted an uncle like Uncle Jessie. Here is a wav file of Daisy, and one of Uncle Jessie.
You can go here to
visit Tom
Wopat's Official Home Page. Tom played the part of Luke Duke.
Uncle Jessie was
played by Denver Pyle, and you can read a little about
Denver
“Uncle Jessie” Pyle here.
Remember Boss
Hogg, who was played by Sorrell Booke? Sadly Sorrell
passed away in 1994.

The Life and Times of Grizzly
Adams
I found the opening theme song
to be very haunting and even hearing now as an adult makes me think of
the differences between life in a city compared to the one portrayed in
the show.
The show first
aired on the 9th February, 1977 and last aired on 26th
July, 1978. Dan Haggerty played the part of James “Grizzly” Adams with
Denver Pyle playing Mad Jack. The lone Indian, Nakuma, was played by
Don Shanks.
The Life And Times
Of Grizzly Adams was set in the western United
States during the late 1800's and was the story of a man accused of a
crime he did not commit.
James "Grizzly"
Adams sought refuge in the wilderness and discovered
that life there suited him better than in the city. With the help of
his friend, Mad Jack and an Indian blood brother, Nakuma, Grizzly built
a cabin and lived in harmony with nature.
Grizzly had
rescued a grizzly bear cub from a cliff and named him Ben,
and, although he grew to be quite a specimen, weighing in at over 300+
pounds, he remained as friendly as a child. Together they found
wilderness adventure in dealing with nature, the elements and strangers
who passed through. A frequent visitor was young Robbie Cartman, the
son of a farmer, who loved to listen the Grizzly's tales of adventure!
Robbie was played by John Bishop.
Dan Haggerty, who
starred in the series, played the same role in the
movie, "The Life And Times Of Grizzly Adams", and a similar role in
another film, "The Adventures Of Frontier Freemont". Haggerty was
originally an animal trainer and was chosen for the film roles because
of his remarkable rapport with the bears. Denver Pyle appeared as his
co-star in both films.
